Rooted in God’s Word
We want to be a church where everyone is rooted in God’s Word and the main message of the Bible (the gospel).

Growing in God’s Grace
We want to be a church where everyone is growing stronger and stronger in the grace of God.

Bearing Fruit in Abundance
We want to be a church where everyone is bearing a lot of great fruit: loving God passionately, loving one another, and loving neighbours personally and sacrificially.

Our Values

Core values speak of what’s important to us. They both describe us and guide our decision-making. We have four core values that relate to spiritual growth.

Stable Growth

In a world where it often feels like the ground is shifting under our feet, we long to be grounded.

Close Growth

We believe that spiritual growth best happens in community.

Slow Growth

In a city where bigger and faster are often the drivers, we are in no hurry to grow. Solid growth takes time, which means we need to think both short and long-term. 

Real Growth

Imagine a community where people can be honest about where they’re at, and where they can also be lovingly encouraged to grow in Christ and love others? That is important to us at GWMC. Real growth has an inward and outward component.
